TELEHEALTHSCARE SERVICES V32 - LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FIX VS Code terminal (in this folder, with your Python environment activated): python -m pip install -r requirements.txt python manage.py check python manage.py migrate python manage.py runserver The first Django management command automatically creates .env.local with a random private secret if there is no .env production file. It uses SQLite locally. Alternatively, double-click START_LOCAL_WINDOWS.bat. If a .env file already exists, Django treats it as production configuration. For explicit local mode on Windows CMD, run: set TELEHEALTH_LOCAL_DEV=1 python CREATE_LOCAL_ENV.py python manage.py runserver Do not deploy .env.local or the local SQLite database to production. No live patient data should be used on this legacy Python/Django stack.
