# Holistica default images on telehealthscare.com

The homepage slider and three care cards reference bundled Django static assets, **not database rows**. An empty production database does not prevent them from appearing. These images are illustrative AI-generated scenes, not photos of actual Holistica personnel.

## cPanel installation

1. Deploy the complete ZIP, including `website/static/website/img/services/`. Do not upload only the Python files.
2. Activate your cPanel Python virtual environment and install the project dependencies.
3. From the folder containing `manage.py`, run `python verify_default_images.py` then `python manage.py collectstatic --noinput`.
4. Verify these HTTPS URLs load actual JPEG images:
   - `https://telehealthscare.com/static/website/img/services/elderly_care_photo.jpg`
   - `https://telehealthscare.com/static/website/img/services/post_hospital_photo.jpg`
5. If those URLs return 404, configure cPanel's `/static/` URL mapping to the absolute `staticfiles` folder (or confirm WhiteNoise is running through Passenger); then restart the Python app. The `/static/` URL must not point at an empty `public_html/static` folder.
6. Reload the homepage with a cache-bypassing refresh. Check slider controls and all three cards.

## Database and uploaded media

- Do **not** import development data to make the images appear. Do **not** run `flush` or delete the live database.
- `/media/` is for user-uploaded files and is separate from `/static/`. Keep media backed up and configure secure serving for patient documents.
- The built-in image filenames can be replaced later, or a separately implemented admin-managed override feature can be added. The current homepage uses the bundled files directly; it does not yet implement database-driven image overrides.
- After replacing a file, run `collectstatic` and invalidate caches if needed.
